High-speed and Long-lasting Fiber Optic Hybrid Roatry Joint Compatible with Multiple Protocols
Fiber optic rotary joints combine electrical slip rings with fiber optic rotary joints, providing a multifunctional rotating interface for electrical and optical connections. These hybrid units enable the unlimited transmission of power, signals, and large amounts of data between stationary and rotating platforms, optimizing system configurations and reducing costs. Panlink offers a wide range of electrical and optical combinations to meet various application needs. A highly compact miniature slip ring can be integrated with a single-channel fiber optic rotary joint for low current, signal, and high-speed data transfer in HD camera systems. Conversely, a rugged high-power electrical slip ring can be combined with multi-channel fiber optic rotary joints for use in ROVs.
When harsh environment operation is required, options such as stainless steel housing, fully sealed enclosures, and fluid-filled pressure compensation are available. Additionally, hybrid optical-electrical units can be combined with fluid rotary unions to provide a complete solution for electrical, optical, and fluid rotating interfaces.
